Cheapest broadband deal in Ireland right now
The cheapest broadband plan we track over a full first year is Fibre 500Mb from eir, at €319.88 for twelve months — €34.99 a month for the first 24 months, then €75.99, at 500 Mbps download. Averaged over its 24-month contract that is €32.82 a month. A €100 new-customer credit is deducted from that first-year total. A contractual €4 a month rise applies on each anniversary.

Two things the monthly price does not tell you
- €100 new-customer credit on eir — a one-off amount credited to the account, so it lowers what you actually spend in year one. We deduct it from every first-year figure on this page rather than mentioning it in a footnote.
- +€4 a month each year on eir — a contractual increase applied on each anniversary (eir applies its rise every April), on top of the step up from the opening rate to the standard rate. It is written into the contract, so it is not a price change you can leave over. Our average-monthly figures apply it from the first anniversary onwards.
